First Dance Tips for Ventura Couples
How to choose a song, plan lessons, and feel ready without the stress.
1. Start earlier than you think
Start 2–3 months before the wedding when you can. Shorter timelines can work — call and we’ll plan around your date.
2. How many lessons do you need?
It depends on the song, how much choreography you want, and how comfortable you already are:
- Silver (2 lessons, $200) — clean structure and a song-ready outline
- Bronze (4 lessons, $400) — more personality and practice time
- Gold (6 lessons, $600) — full polish for the spotlight moment
3. Pick a song you both love (even if it’s weird)
Ballads and uptempo surprises both work. Bring the track you love — Patricia builds around your music and comfort, not a template.
4. Two left feet are welcome
Private lessons break the dance into small, repeatable pieces you can practice at home.
5. Don’t forget parent dances
Parent dances can be added when you book your first-dance package.
6. Practice between lessons
Ten minutes a few times a week beats one long cram session. Record a phone video at the end of each lesson so you remember the sequence.
